Common questions

Flower subscription FAQ

Is this a weekly or monthly flower delivery subscription?

We offer weekly or biweekly (every two weeks) delivery — you choose at checkout. Biweekly works like a monthly flower delivery service if you prefer a lighter cadence. Both options let you skip any delivery as needed.

Can I skip a week?

Yes. You can skip one or more consecutive deliveries anytime from your customer account — no phone call needed. See our video FAQ guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.

When can I cancel my flower subscription?

The option to pause or cancel becomes available after your 4th delivery. This small minimum helps us plan fairly with our farm partners. You can also pause for up to 3 months at any time.

What is a fresh flower subscription?

A fresh flower subscription means you receive bouquets on a regular schedule without reordering. Ours is truly fresh — cut from local farms within 200 miles of NYC that week, never cold-stored or shipped from overseas.

How is this different from national flower subscription services?

Most subscription services source flowers from South America or the Netherlands. Every stem in a Molly Oliver subscription comes from small farms within 200 miles of NYC. Through detailed weekly newsletters, you’ll learn a great deal about flower care and flower growing in our region.

What flowers can I expect in my bouquet?

Bouquets are single-variety and change week to week: specialty tulips and ranunculus in spring, peonies and cosmos in early summer, dahlias and lisianthus in late summer, heirloom mums in autumn. Your newsletter explains exactly what you received and how to care for it.

How many stems are in each bouquet?

10–20 stems per bouquet. The count varies based on the wholesale cost of that week's featured variety. We skip the cheap filler greenery, preferring the impact and color burst of single-variety bouquets.

Can I give a flower subscription as a gift?

Yes — we have a separate gift subscription product where the recipient chooses their own start date. See gift subscriptions →

Do you offer subscriptions for offices or businesses?

Yes. We offer regular recurring weekly deliveries for offices, retail stores, restaurants, and other spaces. Contact us to inquire.

What if I'm unhappy with a bouquet?

Email seasonalflowerproject@mollyoliverflowers.com with a photo. If your flowers aren't in good condition on arrival, or don't last as long as our newsletter indicates, we'll make it right.
