Bug + Randall | The Bowery Hotel Wedding, 2025

Bug and Randall’s wedding at the Bowery Hotel was intimate, cinematic, and deeply romantic—an evening that felt both timeless and unmistakably personal. Set against the moody elegance of the Bowery Hotel’s interiors, their celebration blended old-world charm with a richly layered floral palette designed to feel warm, organic, and quietly luxurious.

From the ceremony through the candlelit reception, every detail unfolded with intention. Lush textures, tonal reds, and softly glowing light transformed the space into something that felt both elevated and welcoming—exactly the kind of atmosphere that invites guests to linger a little longer.

The Ceremony

The ceremony space was framed by abundant, textural florals in deep reds, rusts, and muted blush tones. Arrangements spilled naturally along the aisle and altar, creating a grounded, immersive setting that softened the architecture while honoring the venue’s historic character.

Candles flickered against brick and tile, adding warmth and movement as Bug and Randall exchanged vows. The result was quietly dramatic and deeply emotional—proof that a ceremony doesn’t need to be oversized to feel powerful.

Cocktail Hour & Reception Details

As guests transitioned into cocktail hour, the evening unfolded into a richly layered reception scene. Tables were styled with clusters of red grapes, taper candles in warm brass holders, and seasonal florals arranged to feel loose and intentional rather than formal.

The tablescapes leaned into contrast: crisp linens paired with deep, saturated blooms and softly glowing candlelight. Each table felt curated yet effortless, encouraging conversation and connection long after dinner was served.

Long tables filled the space with rhythm and intimacy, while the glow of candlelight brought a sense of cohesion throughout the room.

Floral Design Notes

The floral palette centered around tonal reds—crimson, rust, and wine—balanced with soft blushes, peach, creamy whites, and seasonal greens. Textural blooms and natural movement were key, allowing arrangements to feel alive rather than structured.

Rather than overpowering the space, the florals worked in harmony with the Bowery Hotel’s interiors, enhancing its character while adding warmth and softness. Every arrangement felt intentional, tactile, and rooted in the season.

We leaned into seasonal flowers in peppy shapes such as decorative, cactus and ball Dahlias, carnations, cockscomb fan-shaped celosia, lisianthus, as well as textural elements like unripe blackberries.

Flower arrangements were complemented by fruits of the season like husk cherries, donut peaches, and heirloom tomatoes of many shapes and sizes - all from Norwich Meadows Farm, our favorite farm to shop at the Union Square Greenmarket.
